I was not let into this 3rd world country as I had no return ticket!<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I could buy a ticket to anywhere else on the spot but instead I was detained and sent back the same route (but without passport – its being held and passed onto the other agent until final destination).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ground crew forced me to sign a piece of paper stating I cannot afford a flight when departing Cancun (still they said that my luggage is in the airplane, totally untrue as I had no tags no boarding pass etc).
– They did get that to me eventually and brought the check-in bags and it was the last ones to be loaded (4 pieces)!
– I had no access to the my phones untill I was given those back by the aircraft door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Such things happening to a Business Class passenger of Turkish Airlines!

Update 1: 13:07 24th of March 2023 local time in Istambul<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m with no passport its being held until the destination, all thru the journey I was being assuered I will get it back (1. In the Airplane, 2. When landed). I finally asked someone from the ground employees and they said I will only get it back after landing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to upgrade my ticket to business class in order to get thru security (I do not hold my boarding pass to the destination airport) – hence tried this hack \ud83d\ude42 Well turns out – not possible on this “passenger status” – when I’m reading that piece of paper now, it says I’m being deported. Its free but comes with no freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh yeah, got called out by my lastname and got a free sandwitch, small pepsi and a water; just after 6 hours of waiting near the Turkish Airlines transfer desk (its before security checkpoint, so not much stuff here).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also since I have no passport I cannot buy internet access, luckily I got a few phones and phone numbers hence getting 1 hour free on each number (If I’d like to buy a package 9 EUR \/ day that would be nice, I did try – its showing put your payment information [BUT WHERE = ITS NOT BEING DISPLAYED])

as promised the screenshot, using my last 4th number now… As you can see the payment information does not load, weird…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also on the airplane flying to and from Mexico the internet was not usuable by me. I saw others using it without problems though.
WEIRD! I would probably get that return ticket when I would be able to do so and \/ or talk with people or what not…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update 3: 16:40 24th of March 2023<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong> local time: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was able to finally connect paid for 2 hours… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did some duty free shopping, having someone from Turkish Airline that holds your passport and boarding pass though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made it to the hotel, just chilling now, ordered pizza having some drinks and watching football!
Its a hell of a story not everything is being disclosed here obviously.<\/p>\n
